Healthy Vessels is a faith-based program which implements a goal of maximizing the health of one’s body, mind, and spirit.  It is based on Biblical principles.  The program provides guidelines for appropriate eating and establishes exercise patterns that support a healthy Body mass Index.  The aim of the program is for the participants to attain a healthy body weight that is appropriate for one’s height.  This lifestyle aims at preventing the likelihood of debilitating diseases and reducing the need for participant’s medication.  There is an equal focus upon obtaining optimum cellular nutrition.

    Over a 14-week period approximately 30-35 hours of instruction is provided on site.  This instruction includes power point presentations, video clips, class participation, demonstrations, class assignments and Biblical scripture.  Off site, guidelines and structure can be provided during a 6-8 hour seminar.  After the instruction period or seminar, a support group would be made available to aid in the progress and completion of individual goals.
